Customer service consultants
A key differentiator for our service, is our approach to customers - friendly, timely and helpful. Working within a friendly team you will be providing customer service and general consultative support to our clients recruitment system implementations. You will be part of a team servicing support calls, resolving problems and identifying issues then liaising with our technical support staff to initiate further action, if required. Both in person and on the telephone you will be the front line representative of this expanding organisation. We are looking for an efficient, flexible, and adaptable all rounder must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office along with an ability to prioritise, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Answering support calls, discussing the nature of the call with the customer, ensuring all details have been obtained and recorded
- Logging of the problem/queries into CRM system
- Managing requests received either via telephone or email
- Resolving faults and escalating support cases with the relevant technical departments
- Working to and monitoring an agreed SLA
- Involved in testing solutions and recommending and implementing improvements to the support operation
- Ability to work unsupervised, create own workload & take initiative
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Educated to degree level
- Some customer service experience
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications, Outlook, Word, Excel
- Web savvy – an extremely good understanding of the internet is essential
Graduate web developers
We are currently recruiting for graduate/junior web developers. Extensive knowledge of HTML/CSS is essential, although formal training and on-the-training will be provided to adopt your skills.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Being part of a team of devlopers and web-developers
- Involved with development of client websites/microsites
- Working with blue-chip brands
- Advancing into a true development role

We are currently recruiting for graduate software developers to work as part of our internal product development team. This role will include adding/modifying functionality to our online recruitment system which is a .Net 3.5 application.

- Educated with a Computer Science (or equivalent) degree
- Proficient at C# and MS SQL

Senior software developers
Advorto provides one unique offering: that of creating and maintaining global, enterprise-class, web-based applications. Our main product is an online recruitment system that is in use by over one hundred blue-chip companies, including a number of FTSE 100's and FTSE 250's. We are now looking to expand our product portfolio into other areas. So, the most important experience factor you will have is experience of the platform AND experience of developing and delivering these types of solutions.
The platform
- Microsoft .Net 3.5, specifically C#
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003
About you
- Minimum five years experience of architecting, delivering and/or managing the delivery of web-based systems (not web-sites, but applications).
- Proven track record of being involved in successful and complete commercial deliveries, ideally at least three
- Exposure to development full life-cycle - ie. development of concept -> proof of concept -> delivery to beta -> delivery to live -> managing through life -> new release cycles, etc.
