Advorto is led by a team of senior executives who believe in a forward-thinking, consultative approach to providing recruitment management solutions. The team has a wide range of experience from leading consulting companies, such as Accenture and Logica, to some of the largest software companies such as IBM, Microsoft and EMC.
Mike McClelland Founder and Managing Director
Mike founded Advorto in 1998 to embrace a dynamic and forward thinking approach to building recruitment management solutions. Under his direction, Advorto has grown to be a leading provider of recruitment management solutions in Europe, with customers such as Abbey, Blockbuster, and National Rail. In his previous roles with Accenture, Logica and Microsoft, Mike led consulting projects with several Blue Chip clients, helping them to utilise technology to deliver business results that make a difference to the bottom line. Mike is an entrepreneur and involved in several technology start-ups.
Robin Day Head of Engineering
Robin is the main architect behind Advorto’s recruitment management system. His ability to understand complex business requirements and convert them into user-friendly solutions has helped to propel Advorto’s adoption as a leading recruitment management solution in Europe. Robin has been passionate about computers since he was a child, creating his first program at the age of eight. Robin earned a degree in Computer Science from the University of Kent.
Andy Cammack Sales Director
A graduate of City University, Andy leads Advorto’s sales efforts, helping to grow the company’s rapidly expanding customer base. Based in St Albans with his family, Andy has nearly 20 years of business development experience with recruitment and HR services companies, including Kenexa, Psychometric Services Ltd, Qwiz, Prime Selection and Computer People.
David Pryce Head of Consulting
David joined Advorto in 2007 to lead Advorto’s growing consulting business and to help Advorto’s clients get the most from their recruitment management solution. David came from the law firm Denton Wilde Sapte, where he was a key player in developing web systems and strategy, including implementing a recruitment website. David graduated from Nottingham University and is fluent in French and Japanese. Prior to his IT career, he was a professional level snowboarder.
Gary Washer Advorto Worldwide SARL Director
Gary has 25 years’ experience in international M&A. He was Founder and CEO of European investment group CAM Galaxy Holdings which, backed by CitiCorp, Nomura, Security Pacific and other institutions, bought and sold over 30 companies. He worked with Acxiom Corporation, ECsoft Group, General Dynamics and other multinationals to initiate cross-border acquisitions, divestments and channel networks.
